iPhone Volume
Hi,
I was wondering if there are any mods out there to raise the volume on the iPhone. All the settings on the phone are at max, yet the volume is still very low.
Does anyone know how to change that?
Thanks

Ear piece volume?
Did you take the plastic off?

Lol, yes, the plastic is off.
And i'm talking about the speaker volume, like when the phone rings, or when you put the phone on speaker.

Speaker Volume Question
Does anyone know if the ipod loudness limiter affects (or limits) the speaker volume (and/or earphones) for telephone use?

The Speaker and Earpiece volume were enhanced with the 1.1.1 update and it works very well. I notice a huge difference in volume now. But if you are running 3rd party Apps and want to keep them then dont update until our friends on the dev team Hack the new firmware

Volume for 1.0.2
Over in the d/l section on www.modmyiphone.com someone has put a modified com.apple.celestial.plist file that purportedly adjusts the volume of a 1.0.2 similar to what apple did in 1.1.1 (or so it is theorized).

Why dont you add your own ringtones. They sound louder. Or just edit the existing ringtones to make them louder and upload them back to your phone. Thats what I did with the sms-recieved sound. Its not as loud as my blackberry, but atleast I can hear it if I'm in the same room now.
iPhone 8Gb + AirTel SuperSim Calls In/Out -> OK
SMS In/Out -> OK
Edge -> OK

Do a search and you will find a software fix for your problem.
