Hi, someone on facebook told me:
-"There is a charging control chip which if your iphone3g is using more power than the charger can supply it disables charging".
Can someone confirm me, if it's true?
I have jailbroken iphone, is it possible to do something about it?
I would love to charge my iphone and listen music at same time. It drains battery very fast using usb without charging.

This is somewhat true for the iPad. I have not heard of it being true for the iPhone. See iPad: Charging the battery for details on the iPad.
The iPhone has a smaller battery and does not require as much juice to both charge and use the iPhone at the same time.
If you are using a non-apple USB cable or charger, you could have the problem described below:
