So I was browsing around the internet and found a pretty cool Camera Focus Modification.. There weren't really any instructions, but it was pretty self explanatory, so I went ahead and tried it out. (Basically scrape out some glue from the outer lens and rotate counterclockwise.)

The problem is, when I put the phone back together, the camera stopped responding. I opened it back up and checked if it might have come loose when popping it back in place, but it seems to still be intact.

I'm just curious to know what exactly I might have accidentally done & would the camera from my first generation iPhone suffice as a replacement if I can't get it to work again?
