Default Iphone 1G battery Indicator problems.

    Hello to all.

I am new to this forum. I search for the same problem but i did not found a clear answer.

Lets start. I charge my phone all night after 2 days of full use my battery drop to about 80% and the phone switch off .

I already replace the battery but with no luck. I read somewhere that i need to change the logic board somewhere else that i have to change the commBoard.

I forgot to mention that the iPhone is unlocked with pawnage tool on 2.0.2 i have the problem from version 1.1.4 which i jailbroken for first time with ziphone.

Any ideas what i need to do to fix this problem?

    Thank you
    Polys

My girlfriend's phone was doing the same thing. It would also get really hot when charging too (I mean almost burn your hand hot). And the charge wouldn't last long. I changes the comm board and it is working normally now. Both the comm board and logic board have their own power management circuit. I don't know for sure, but a bad power management circuit on the logic board may cause the same problem.

First of all, try to recalibrate the battery indicator. How?
When your phone gets turned off suddenly, connect it to the power. After the normal boot, turn it off ("slide to power off") and leave it around 12 hours.

    Next see what's the result.

Well no luck. after 36 hours of heavy duty the indicator shows about half and the iphone dies sadly again. The only difference when i put it on charge comes to life for another hour.

Any ideas? I thing i need new hardwares.
