Hi there,

I have 2 iphones with the flat ribbon cable broken, I have been trying to remove the cable from one in order to replace it, but without success.

Does any one have some pictures than can help me with this task? I have been looking at some video tutorials, and post but none of them go that deep.

well., I already pull the cable out but broke the home button , s there is no way I will repair the other iphone....


So, I guess the only thing left is to sell it to someone that can repair it

I have the same problem.... But I know. How to get the data connector out. The problem becomes compounded by the fact that there is a component sold seperately from the data connector that's soldered onto the connector... Email me at pollux315@gmail
