Home button, microphone and usb-connector stopped working
Hello,
I bought a used iPhone 2G with 8GB on eBay two weeks ago. It had a crack in theupper left corner of the glass, but on the other hand it was cheap. I used pwnagetool 2.2.1 and it worked fine until saturday.
Suddenly, the microphone stopped working and in the next morning, the home button stopped reacting on single and multiple pressure and the iPhone did not connect to iTunes anymore and stopped charging the accumulator.
I tried to get into the DFU-mode, but it did not work, too. So I disassembled the iPhone and cleaned all connectors with q-tips and WD-40. Unfortunately, the situation did not change.
Do you think, that the problem is software- or hardware-based?
Thank you in advance

Seems like it may have been dropped in Water earlier?..
You may want to replace the affected parts.
The USB connector, mic and home buttons are available for quite cheap.
