    Default [Headphones] sensor problem

    hi guys,

I have a problem with my iPhone's headphone sensor, the sensor allways think that the headphones are plugged in, wich is not true, when i take the headphones jack out from the iPhone it works but only for a few second, after that he behave again like the headphones are in ... from this reason i can't use my phone , only with the handsfree, which is really annoying, any time to engage my self before answering / calling ...

I found alot of indication about fixing this problem [try to plug in and out the headphones jack for a couple of times = no result, cleaning the iPhone's jack with window cleaning solution = diden't work] ...

what i thing is that the problem may be a software problem or god knows what complicated hardware problem ... PS: i'm using a week 36 with 1.1.2 iPhone + TurboSim, in Romania ..... so there is no chance to go back in U.S. and benefit of the guarantee.

eniway ... I thing that the solution for this problem it's to have a software installed on the iPhone which allow you to switch on and off this sensor, it can be an independent software like SMBPrefs, SSH [with the switcher icon], Weather, etc ... either a new field in the SETTINGS section [like that for the capitalization in the emails] ....

can anyone help me with this problem? can anyone wright a software like this?, either have one ??? ... or god knows what other solutions ....

    thanks

Try taking a straw and suck out some trash from headphone jack. It helped in my case!

    Default still search

I still search for someone to wright a software for this problem ... I made some investigation and the problems may be software ... now, when I take the headphone jack out it's work for about 2min and 20-23 seconds every time ... after that he goes in "silence" again ... :|

yeah, SW solution to turn off the sensor would better ,,, it's so frustrating that you can only use the phone with the speaker/headphones

I'm having the same problem, however, it simple does not work ! only in speaker or with the headphones. To no avil none of the cleaning indications work, will continue to see what I can find

    1.1.1 AnySIM unlocked

I can add that it might be software related, since when dialing you can hear the touch tones on the phone's audio port (not the speakers)
