I just poked the cover and tried to move it, it didn't move but sound came back to normal, one thing I noticed the sound on my iphone is not as good as the newer iphones, I'm acctually considering to sell mine and get me a new one!!!

    Unhappy

I could not hear anything in my phone when I held it to my ear. Speaker worked and headphones worked, just not the phone audio portion. Some people even did a restore to try to fix it, which I really didnít want to have to do.

the poking......... can u be more specific/???????????

    pls help me out.......................

so the only method is to use the "poking" method?

does this consider as faulty earpiece from apple?

It woked like a charm!!! givi it a try, mine came back to normal, however I still think my volume is lower than other newer iphones, try it and good luck!!!
just afraid that after poking, it might tear the "screen covering the earpiece" or some holes will be visible...n worst, still not working...

still do not dare to try it...pls advise...

a very desperate to save the iphone user now...
