Question [Dock Connector] Not showing in itunes, disconnects very quicly

My iphone's dock has been acting weird lately. It charges via usb wall charger, but when plugged into the computer, it disconnects very quickly. I can't sync my iphone with my mac. Is it a hardware problem or a software glitch?

    Thumbs up

try connecting the phone and putting it on dfu mode. if you can see it in itunes while it is on dfu mode, restore it. if not then it may be a logicboard issue or a midboard.
