    I just run a machine with Windows 7...

    The important part is, that any program running on my "DFU" iPhone is, that the program must run iPhone DFU-like mode (Black Screen)...

    I pretty sure that the "iBoot Environment Variable Overflow" (iBoot Environment Variable Overflow - The iPhone Wiki) hack can be used to gain access to the system... but I am not familiar with programming in such an iPhone environment.

    Would be great if you have some idea and recommendation.

    Hey, i got the exact same problem! Any news on how 2 set the nvram variable and get the iPhone out of the dfu loop?

    I still stick to my opinion that this is a problem with the computer that you are attempting to do the restore on. I'd be willing to be convinced otherwise if anyone who is experiencing this problem has either experienced the same error on a Mac or has tried the troubleshooting steps I linked to from Apple much earlier.

    are you implying trying it on a mac? do you think installing osx on a seperate partition would cut it?

    hmm then ill guess ill just go to the apple store and try it there . and if they ask what im doing ill just say im fixing my phone and i dont wanna pay to fix it
