if you live in the U.S. then my best solution is completely reverting your iphone into it's original state (not just the software restore...) and walk into an apple store and tell then you just got it and out-of-the-box you realized a dead pixel.
they will probably have to replace it...
    no way!
    several people tryed it.

Try rubbing the screen above the dead pixel with gentle force in circular massage motion (not too much - you dont want to break the touchpad sensors)

Wont work, you wont actually touch the panel, you'll be rubbing the glass.

If a pixel is stuck, running that un-sticking app for a while should fix it.

A dead pixel cant be fixed, so dont bother.

Also, having a couple of dead pixels in such a high density display is perfectly normal, so dont go screaming inside an applestore for a replacement, there's a large chance you wont get one.

I didnt notice mine until i stuck my face 20 cm from the display to watch a movie while trying to sleep.

I have 1 stuck pixel in the center of my screen (anoying as hell), and can see it only on a dark shade, when light colors are on can`t see it at all but still anoying. I will try to use the program on that site, does anybody know for how long I should use it???

I've personally fixed one bright-pixel dot by the massage method. you'll need to exert some force so the effects goes through the touchpad glass (you can actually see the screen being pressured like when you poke your fingers on an ordinary LCD monitor) and its free to try.

Whether the bright dot will show up again over time is another matter though.

For the believers of the seizure-inducing method of eradicating stuck pixels, try: This which was ripped from a Best Buy DVD for fixing pixels on LCD TVs, subsequently then ripped for PSP which this link is for. YMMV.

So you are suggesting that you actually BENDED the glass? Or did you use some jedi mind force to go through the glass and touch the panel? What you are describing is not possible, and people are more likely to break the glass if they try it out. Chances are your pixel got unstuck on its own.

you know the old saying .. don't knock it until you've tried it? You should take note. What he is saying is not some impossible thing. My uncles LCD monitor had a pixel that was stuck right in the middle. I put my finger on the glass and pressed gently and like he said - you can see the pressure area as you press and after rubbing it, I let go - the pixel was fine after that.

LCD monitors dont have a glass front, what you rubbed was the plastic layer that "covers" the tft panel. That layer can be "bent" and thus you can affect the pixels underneath. I am not saying the "rubbing" method does not work with TFT panels. I am saying it wont work with the iphone's screen, due to the glass cover.

Try "massaging" the screen and see that you WONT see the pressure area's colors changing (like you do on a TFT panel), simply because you are not bending the panel itself, you are trying to bend the glass.
