Well that adds weight to my suspicion that this is caused by shorting the battery. Next you'll be telling us that you removed the metal shield while the phone was switched on!

Hi, I have got the same problem.

The disassembly, hardwiring etc went like a dream and the phone worked fine, until I started to restore 1.1.2. The whole thing went mute and has not started since, besides recovery mode, where you cant install anything. I didn't scratch the surface as I was using needles. Anyone found a solution yet where to start to look?

Wouldnt that just mean he probably poped one of the soldered battery cables off? I am having the same exact problem, and after looking at everything, I noticed that the black cable seemed a lilttle loose. So i got all that gunk out of there, and then what do you know, the black cable is no longer soldered to the board. So iam gonna attempt to solder it tomorrow and see what happens.

OK but it should be pretty simple to see if that was the problem by holding the black cable in place with your finger

    Hello Guys...

I followed the process as described in the pictures, and let me tell you, that I had 6 iphones with power issues... you know... after replacing comm boards or logical boards, It was showing only the apple and after 5 secs...the screen vanished... but soldering a cable like the picture did the job... so, know, I have 6 different working iphones, everything is working...WiFi, Signal Bars, everything... the only thing is that you are not able to see it charging with the iphone off, but when powered up, you see the plug icon in the battery metter.

Thank you very much for the solution... You guys are better than... APPLE...maybe?

    VH.

    Default Cant turn on

    Dear All,
I got same problem. Immediately, My iPhone has shutdown. I canít turn on it and doesnít show anything. But If I plug in to Charger, I can see apple logo and it turn off again within 5-10 seconds.
    Any idea?
