Default Can't hear caller after screen replacement

    Hi everyone,
I'm having a problem with an iphone 3G and another 3Gs that I just replaced LCD and touch screen...

The thing is that when i make or receive calls, neither i can hear the other person, neither they can hear me... Still if i turn the speaker on, they can hear me and i can hear them.

    I have cheked those:
1- Earphone to be stucked (not the problem as earbuds sign does not appear)
    2- Restart the iphone
    3- Reset the iphone

    None of these worked..
Do you know what may be happening? Maybe after changing the screen i touched something or did not plugged something correctly?

    Many Thanks!

Check that connector 5 and 6 are plugged in fully.
Also check the brown metal clamp on the back of the lcd and touch assembly is sitting flat. The receiver sits under there with the light/proximity sensor but won't make proper contact if the metal clamp isn't in place.
Check that sensor 3 is plugged all the way in. Usually you wouldn't get a display at all if this isn't plugged in correctly, but its worth checking.
    Check your mute button.
Make sure you didn't mix up any parts from the 2 iphones.

This is a false statement. It has nothing to do with the LCD.

Unless your #3 connector is visibly damaged, the culprit is your #3 ribbon. Even though it looks fine, theres a possibility that it isnt. Change that out.
