Hi, a guy that is friends with my friend asked me if i could unlock his iphone and i was like ok sure (since its only like 3 clicks). then I didn't check, but i gave it back to him. everything was flawless. a few days went by, and he told me that his camera was completely green (as if night vision was on) lol. Anyone know if it is a software or hardware problem? I believe his iphone was week 38 so bl 3.9 1.1.1 version of factory. I used 1.1.4 and ziphone.

Looks like a hardware problem. Try a hard reset.

I'm having the same problem. I just posted about this in the general forum, anyone know how to fix this?

I have the same problem after I unlocked the phone and then added extra language to it the pictures come out completely green - you can hardly distinguish things on them.Can anyone please tell me how to do a hard reset or may be anyone knows how to fix this?

Well, I tried absolutley everything to fix this and nothing worked, so I figured out that these are almost all hardware problems. I ended up getting my phone replaced and its been fine since.

you need a comm board replacement, its not the camera

This is melodikos - I couldn't get my password recovered so i registered again. I am traveling so I couldn't get it fixed and i was so desperate to get camera to work that I shook the phone vigorously against the palm of my hand ,and ALAS! the color came back to be normal!!!! The only drawback is that after it's in my purse for some time it gets so again but once i shake it it works again, but it doesn't bother me too bad -it's not my primary camera- at least not to where I want to spend $ to fix my 4gig
