Some "Dev" can look at our problem..?! Its for shure a software/firmware issue...
Thank you very much
Nobody else have this issue?
Another symptom is that the batt metter always shows 100% and sudden drains all...
The batt is ok... please read my earlier posts...
I have a similar problem, or at least I think I do.
My phone's charge only lasts 12-14 hours on standby. No matter how long I charge it.
I've replaced my battery and it's the same. So I'm thinking its a software issue.
I've erased bb's, reinstalled the initial firmware (it's an old iphone.. a 1.0.2), kept the phone locked, you name it..
Still the charge only lasts 14 hours max.
I'm sure this is a software issue because I've had a new battery, and the original battery didn't gradually degrade over time.. it was BOOM 3 days on standby down to 14 hours randomly
Yes it must be a software bug!!! I do not have battery issues ...mine last's for 2 days... my only problem is the inaccuracy of the batt metter that puts always an 50% plus on the real charge of the batt... I have donne it all ... the only time that the metter stays ok is when I erase the BBand... but and off course I have an iphone with no bluetooth, wi-fi, etc... as soon I restore/reflash the BB the metter goes crazy again... arrrghhhh!!!
someone with unlock/software expertises must see this... Please!!
also got a battery issue here:
When the icon and HWInfo shows about 45%, the iPhone turns off and shows the "Please charge" Picture.
After 10 minutes of charge (then the phone turns on) it tells me: 60%
I don't know it its a hardware fault because i can use the iPhone about 3 days with normale use (sometimes text messages, sometimes phoning, sometimes Wifi with eMails)
I don't know if just the battery info thingie is broken or something?
Apple Germany told me to send it to US (where it was bought), but that's too expensive
Anyone knows something new ? The problems here seem to be the same than mine.
Strange thing is that i had the same problem. My phone randomly showed "this device is not made for the iphone" and my battery was empty after just 14 hours or so.
I did try everything, restore to all released firmware, kept ssh and wifi and bluetooth off, and so on, it never survived the night without the usb cable connected.
This was the case for about 2 months and right after using WinPwn it just disappeared ! Now my battery goes at least 2 days, but most of the time it hold on until 4 but with everything on, bluetooth -- check / wifi -- check / ssh -- check.
This was done with the first version of winpwn. (0.99 ? or something)
I also tried to upgrade the bootloader to 4.6 (original it is 3.9) but this makes no difference.
Original: iPhone US 1.0.2 OTB BL3.9 | firmware: 3.0
Yes that's my issue ... mine instead of jumping to 60 jumps to 70...LOL!!!
Yes my battery (if u read some posts u see that a batt change doesn't resolve it)also last the normal time... so its for sure a bug in the unlocking/firmware...
the only time that the metter goes ok is when I erase the baseband!
again: someone help us ...this is really a pain!!!
what happens if you don't allow your iPhone to sleep (deactivate) in this critical moment?
My Phone just keeps on playing, until it completely shuts off some minutes later.
I did some testing, let me share:
Wifi, Bluetooth, SSH on
iPod playing ... loud
local time % in HW M(v)
21:42 67 3812
21:56 61 3812
22:08 36 3812
22:22 64 3700
22:27 55 3700
22:28 automatic shutdown
22:29 tried to reboot DIE
reset 10 sec (worked oO)
22:31 44 3601
22:31 automatic shutdown DIE
after 2minutes charging no boot possible
after 5minutes charging boot possible: you see a red battery icon, just before my SIM card wants to be unlocked, after that battery icon shows half full
22:38 51 3630
22:41 42 3630
22:45 32 3630
I never saw the low Battery Warnings that some people talk of.
Maybe this helps anyone and has exactly the same problems
Hope this is only a software issue.
Yes mine does the same...
If I put in "never" in autolock the metter goes to 10% (red) and then off! then it stays for 5m with the no batt icon...then as soon as the phone detects the sim(network) the metter goes from red to 70% ...
Its really a pain...
hope that someone had found a solution
very strange but at least another fella how got the same issue,
let's found a club on this
