Hey guys, I have a 2G 2.2.1 iphone and recently I have been hearing a lot of static noise when talking to someone on the phone. I have had this phone for over a year now and it has worked perfectly up until last week. So basically every time I am talking to someone, I can hear static in the background and the other person can barely understand me. I have switched over multiple different firmwares and the static is still there. I think it might be an internal problem of some sort but I am not sure. I've tried searching the forums about this problem and it seems not many had encountered it. If someone could shed some light on this situation I would really appreciate it.

First, check if the problems it's resolved by plugin the handsfree.
Try several times.
If not, then it's possible that the microphone is malfuctioning or the whole Dock connector circuitry need to be replaced.
