[Airplane] How to prevent iPhone from asking to switch to this mode?
When you insert the iphone into a dock/connection that was not 'designed for iphone'....
I.E My alpine dock in my car-works fine, but I have to say 'no' to the 'do you want to switch to airplane mode' each and every time, as well as my universal dock which I use as my iphone only fits in this with its case. I could of sworn I saw a program for this last year sometime?
Any help greatly appreciated!
i hear, if u use a non iphone device on the iphone, and it ask's that question, you should always put it in airplane mode. if u recieve a call in the middle of using that non supported device, it can cause damage.
i always put my iphone in airplane mode when using non-supported accessories.
originally OTB 1.1.2 iPhone 4.6BL
now blackra1n'd 3.1.2
Damage ? You don't know what you are talking about, right ?
Anyway, the only problem is with audio transmitters, because the signal gets all scrambled when you receive a call...
I don't know how to deactivate this, maybe you should look for plists on the iphone...
asked this in the native apps section, as I have a 2005 uni dock and the phone asks this every time I dock it, and randomly when it wakes to do anything. Plus, I can never read any sms messages on the lock screen as the second they appear the popup comes up and hides the sms window.
Smirkis is right.

Normally, replacing the USB socket flex cable solves the problem.
