I recently bought a 3GS 32GB and discovered that the "alignment" of the digitizer was off. I touch one icon but the one to the left of it opens. It seems linear (horizontally)
Does anyone know what I could do to try and fix it?
edit: I also might have replaced the faceplate frame with one from a 3G. Would that be an issue? Do 3GS & 3G have different 1, 2 & 3 cables? They seem to fit & display fine.

To the last of my knowledge a 3G LCD and Digitizer/proximity sensor were not compatible to the 3GS , this is just what i've been reading. If they are in fact compatible I'd say check the board and make sure the cables are sitting correctly.A quick search has led me to reiterate my first sentence, you need a new assembly for the 3GS.

They arent compatible, they have different plugs for the 3g and 3gs
