3G death by screen replacement - Help
Hello
I replaced the display and digitizer on a 3G, and now it's completely dead. When i was just about to close the phone after the repair i checked the screen and digitizer if it worked, and it did. After a minute the display connector popped out of its socket, i reinserted it, screen still worked and after a while it went white.
Now the phone doesn't respond to anything and the screen does not light up. Does not show up in itunes either.
Can anyone tell me what happened and if there's any way to fix this.
Thanks

After a long time of pressing the two buttons i managed to get some sign of life. Now it shows up in itunes and responds to the vibrate lever. Still black screen.

itunes probably detected it in dfu mode.
you got into this mode because of pressing the 2 buttons in a certain sequence/timing.
To get out of it, press home+power button at the same time. Hold them until the screen flashes/reboot. let go of both and phone should boot right up.
