Hey all,

My old 2G iPhone is acting up strangely, the screen seems to be heavily interlaced. The touch control still works and everything else is fine, just the screen flashes with these lines.. a restore does nothing to help this issue, so it does seem to be a hardware issue. My hypothesis is that this is a loose connection between the display and the actual graphics component, but I don't know enough about the phone's internals to attempt a blind repair.

Does this sound like a good reason for this?

Any help would be appreciated
