    Default [1.1.2 OTB] Doesn't turn on.

    Guys Please help...
    I ordered An IPhone From the US its 1.1.2OTB I know I cant use it as a telephone but the problem is I cant lunch the freakin Iphone its black..... screen always....
    I cant charge it using my PC its says Unknown Device to me
    I'm really MAD .... I searched the IPHONE apple help forums nothing usefull...

    so I cant charge I cant use it as IPOD Touch...

    the error says:
    USB Device Not Recognized:
    One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognize it.



    hint:
    I tried to restart the Apple And IPod Services
    can you please please help...

    1, where did you buy it from? & was it still wrapped?
    2, Out of the box phones come charged
    3, what happens if you press and hold the top button?
    4, connect to a cumpute with itunes on and this should find it?

    It was charged when I first got it...
    I got 3 IPhones from USA... 1.1.2 OTB
    I was on the proccess of jailbreaking them when I was done with the first 2 ...
    I said I will do the third later... I forgot the IPhone for 1 week in the closet...
    today I am trying to connect so that I can jailbreak nothing appears on the PC and its not being charged after a while the screen went black... thats it...

    please help I didnt charge it no overheat happened...
    I dont know... even I tried on 2 PC's the same problem... nothing detected...
    another thing I cant use the charger coz where I live the AC isnt 110 like US.

    You can use the wall charger anywhere in the world. Even at 220-240V. I do so in India.

    But you may need a different plug.

    OK guys Charging is ok even if I charge my PC cant recognise the IPhone I have the latest I-Tunes installed ... the services of apple are working fine...
    check the error message that is comming once I connect the Iphone to the pc I mentioned it in the thread...


    help guys I even cant unlock it..

    The rest of the World is using 220 Volts

    The charger for the iPhone works on both 110V/220V like most of the chargers nowadays....
