If you try to restore or update your firmware on your iPhone after you have jailbroken your iPhone using Greenpois0n your iPhone will be "Bricked" indefinitely.
-Your iPhone will be stuck in DFU/Recovery mode with the "Connect to iTunes" image.
-Trying to restore or update using iTunes will freeze half way through the restore on your iPhone then you will get an iTunes error code.
I have an iPhone 4 on FW4.1 jailbroken with Greenpois0n, now bricked.
I have been jailbreaking and unlocking iPhones since the first iPhone and never came across this situation.
I have even tried restoring the iPhone firmware with the iPhone SDK XCode Organizer, goes through the whole process and at 98% it freezes and error code pops up.
Do NOT attempt to restore or update your iPhone firmware if you have jailbroken with Greenpois0n!
I have iPhone 4, 4.1 jailbroken with Greenpois0n, then upgraded to 4.2 Beta then downgraded to 4.1 then jailbroke then upgraded, downgraded, jailbroke with GreenPois0n ... many times with no problem, So I guess this is your personal problem with your iPhone 4, not GreenPois0n. Please dont scare people!

Agree. Do you have wifi sync installed by any chance? This produces the type of symptoms you are blaming on greenpois0n.

Yes I had wifi sync installed. Is there any work around this to restore the iPhone?

The reports are that uninstalling wifi sync completely from your computer then trying another restore should work.
