    Default Iphone 4.1 Baseband 05.14.02

    Hey guys...
    I have an iphone 3GS running 4.1 and 05.14.02 baseband
    It's currently jailbreaked with Limera1n but i cant call because there it says there is no service....
    i heard about this Greenpois0n tool and im pretty confused...
    Is it like the Limera1n tool or by using it i will be able to actually use the Phone and get reception???

    What carrier are you using the phone on and what carrier is the phone locked to? The 05.14.02 baseband is NOT currently able to be unlocked, and you'll get behavior similar if you install ultrasn0w and try and unlock it.

    limera1n should have worked fine, though greenp0ison is a better choice if it works for you.

    Let me know the carrier info and we'll see what we can do.

    the phone is locked to t-mobile and i am using TIM (italy)
    when do you think there will be an unlock??'

    Nothing firm yet, unfortunately that link is a little outdated and can provide false hope -- not all crashes are able to be turned into exploits that can unlock the baseband, so while it's possible that there is one incoming in the next 3-4 weeks, I'd wager that the dev-team is going to wait until 4.2 comes out. Rumors are that 4.2 will be coming out this or next Friday, so once they release 4.2 and we see what baseband is included, the dev-team should likely make some kind of announcement.
