hey hi-- i updated vista biz last night (latest round of patch-tuesday), but instead of allowing it to install and re-boot, i chose the install and shut-down option.

this am, i get the BSoD. powering on the unit (24" imac running leopard, fully patched) only results in Mac's "tone" at start-up, then nothing. i tried to boot from a tiger install CD (i had nothing else at home) with no luck. i'll try the leopard install CD tonite, but i wanted to see if anyone else had this experience with a vista patch deployment.

hey, yes a lot of people who installed Vista patches last week have had this problem, good old CRAPSOFT!!

If I'm correct, Vista flashes the BIOS... (can't expect something less dangerous from Microsoft.)

And Apple's computers ain't have any BIOS...
