hey everytime i try to setup my macs for triple booting, windows xp always throws that damn corrupted/damaged hal.dll file when i finish installing ubuntu

-i start with having OSX in the entire disk, then diskutil to make two new partitions: one fat and one free and install refit for the bootloader
-then install windows xp onto the fat (formatting to ntfs and installing macbook drivers)
-then installing ubuntu using alternate install cd and doing all updates (then i figure out my macbook cooling fans dont run but oh well)

after all that i boot into windows and its broke cuz of that damn hal.dll thing

is there a way to prevent the damn lil thing from messing up?

Have you tried using Bootcamp to install XP?

yea when i goto resize my osx size to make room for ubuntu it breaks hal.dll

Partition and install Ubuntu first, then run Bootcamp.

format the hard disk and reinstall the system
