Hi,

I have a Steelseries Ikari Laser mouse and in firefox and other webbrowsers the back and forth buttons doesn't work. Steelseries says they are not planning on making any drivers for it either. The buttons works fine in World of Warcraft but not in other places.

Can I somehow make it work in Firefox at least?
It sucks to have to click the actual back-button to go back..
Right now both buttons are recognized as middlemousebutton in Firefox.

I still haven't found a solution for this.. It's the same in Lion. I really want to be able to use the back/forward buttons on the mouse in OS X and not just in World of Warcraft..

Has anyone found a solution for this?

For my IKARI Laser mouse, I use SteerMouse to configure the extra buttons on Snow Leopard/Lion. It works great. Although it's not free, you at least know what to search for. You can get the trial here.
