[ speedstep ] problems.
Installed iatkos 2.0 on my c700 series compaq laptop. Everything is working great. Until I realized my computer was running very hot like 68c at idle. Did some research and found out that unless speedstep is installed and ran properly my processor is throttled at 100%. Installed speedstep and the last step in the install was to reboot the machine. Well I rebooted it and it hung at the blue screen. turned comp off and rebooted again and, again, it hung at the blue screen. Booted up with -v to see where it was having an error and it got through all the processes and went to blue screen and again hung there. Anybody have any ideas?

update
****update***
Now the computer sometimes boots and sometimes it hangs at blue screen. If it does boot I have about 3 seconds until the "please hold down the power button for several seconds and reboot the machine" screen comes up. Its like the speedstep is causing the computer not to boot. Anyway to disable it without booting the machine?
