Default Specific model versions of Mac OS

    Hi,

I was wondering if we could make specific install cd's for specific common computer models or series.

    Eg. Apple_MacOS_for_Dell_Optiplex_GX_Series or Apple_MacOS_for_Sony_Vaio_FE_Series...

    What you think about that?
I don'y understand about programming (yet) but i have here a dell and I could help working on that. I can translate things to European Portuguese too...

I think its quiet useless.. people will scream about releasing a dvd for their PC model.. and the mess is getting bigger.. I vote NO.

There are 10'000 computer models around and you want to release a 2-4gb File for each one?! It's impossible: Nobody would seed them all and it would be too much work. There are better ways of doing this:

    1) Just the basic stuff is included. The rest needs to be done by the owners of the pcs.

    2) Include optional fixes via a package for some computers. So you can choose between NVidia/Ati and such stuff during the install. Most releases do it that way. Maybe you could even include more stuff this way, but as I said there are lots of model out there so...
