    I discontinued MobileMe some time ago. Its definitely not worth the trouble. Getting an expensive hosting service is better. And there are better alternatives for the sync services.

    iDisk alternative: ZumoDrive
    iPhone Sync alternative: Google Sync
    For Mail: Just use Gmail
    For Photosharing: Flickr, SnapFish, Photobucket, etc.

    Things get simpler as even though you use multiple services instead of one, the effort that goes is reduced.

    2.0 GHz Dual core, 4 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, SnowLeopard 10.6.4

    For me and all us geeks online, I think what your saying is best. For family or friends who are less tech-savvy, the simplicity of an integrated system saves them bugging us to help them do this and that though

    I am getting quite tired of the crappiness of MobileMe's webmail. It's like OS X launch all over again, slow UI for the sake of looking sexy. Give me an OS 9 webmail client dammit!
