Default Quick question about installing the newest Mac OS on a Windows based PC

If someone could respond to this question with some helpful answers I would greatly appreciate it.

I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T61 Windows based laptop, which I recently purchased. It came installed with Windows Vista Home Edition. I have been thinking about removing Vista and trying to install the newest Macintosh Operating System (OS).

    1) What would happen if I removed Vista and tried to install the newest version of the Mac OS? Would it even install? I've read on the internet that the Mac OS is only setup to be installed on Apple computers not non-apple computers.

    2) If I leave Vista on the computer, and try to install the newest open box Mac OS, would it install correctly or would I encounter erros?

I know that the Mac OS can be hacked to install, but I was just wondering what would happened if I purchased the latest Mac OS at my local Apple store and tried installing it on my windows based computer, what exactly would happen.

If anyone would respond and let me know what would happen in these scenarios, or what problems I would encounter, please let me know. I would like to run Windows Vista or Win XP and the lastest Mac OS side by side.

I cant wait until the day if ever, that Apple may decide to release their software for people likemyself with Windows based PC's that want to run Macintosh.

    Thank you,

Without a hacked kernel, the retail osx disk for intel macs would kernel panic
a few seconds after the darwin bootloader booted from the dvd.

You would not get close to even installing OSX to your laptop.

The only way to install mac os on your laptop is going to be to download a
    hacked version.

I just finished installing OsX on a Vista machine. You can do a dual boot easily. The thing to do is "research". Visit osx868project.org first and read install manual.
    I recommend downloading Kalyway 10.5.2 .

    Good luck!

Default OSX 10.5.5 on Asus EEE PC

    Yeah, me too.
I can't justify the cost of a MacBookAir, but a cute little "net-book" like an Asus EEE 900 running the same o.s. as my iMac at home would be great. If anyone has got this working then I'd appreciate some explicit directions/instructions. Naturally, I want to avoid upsetting Steve too much!
