Macbook Pro won't turn on ?

Hi guys,

I've been trying to solve this problem for more than 3 weeks now and really need your help. I'll appreciate any answer !!

Here is my problem: I had put my Macbook pro in standby mode for a few hours, and when I tried powering it on again, I can hear the fan working, the little white light on the front side lighting up, but the screen won't display anything (black screen, really nothing). The backlight on the power button won't switch on neither, and for example when I press on the caps lock button the LED doesn't power on.

I've tried many things:

* All steps indicated on: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1365?locale=fr_CH (resetting PRAM -> PC didn't reboot after key press simulatenously, resetting power manager -> didn't reboot neither, didn't change any memory on the mac).
* Connecting an external screen but didn't get any result
* Rebooted may times the Mac
* Charged for a while
* etc...


I'm really desesperate !

Have you tried resetting your SMC?

MacBook, MacBook Pro
If the computer is on, turn it off.
Disconnect the AC Adapter and remove the computer's battery.
Press and hold down the power button for 5 seconds and then release the button.
Reconnect the battery and AC Adapter.
Press the Power button to restart the computer.
