macbook pro software update to 10.5 or higher.

i have a 2001 macbook pro and it has mac os x 10.4.11 i just got a new new ipod nano that has the touch screen and when i go to plug it in it says i need i tunes 10 or later so i go to install that and it says it cant run on my computer because i need mac os x 10.5 and i have no idea how o get that or anything can someone plesase help me

Try taking it to your local Apple Store. Tell them that you purchased a new iPod that requires a newer version of iTunes and the OS. They might be able to help.
