Hey guys, i am getting conflicting advice from the internet and Mac Staff.
The Battery on a mac, should it always be on charge?? i know on a WIndows Laptop that leaving it on charge ruins the battery, will this happen with a macbook.
I use a prog called CoconutBattery which states that in 5 months my battery orginal capacity was 5020 mAh it is now only 4692 mAh
How long did you have it? Lithium-ion battery's charge dimishes over time... You might want to look up how lithium-ion batterys work.Quote:

do you keep yours on charge all the time or charge it then let the battery go down the charge back up again?
I tend to just keep it plugged in. However, according to what I learned in chemistry and what Apple's website and what Wikipedia says is that it should be cycle-independentQuote:
