how to disable dynamic power step iMac G5

how can I do that under an iMac G5, Mac OS X 10.4.11?

Doesn't look like you can, or supposed to, to touch it...

Just out of curiosity, why would you like to disable it?

I thought that that was causing my iMac to go ape crazy with fans nearly hovering........
the ram was the problem...............
who knows, maybe Apple wrote a string in the OpenFirmware that acsually makes these things go crazy when other ram is put inside..........
