My friend has a ibook G4 with Mac OS 10.3.9.
He wants to install itunes on it so he can sync his 2G iphone with 2.2 firmware.
He went to the itunes download site on Apple to download the newest iTunes 8, but he says the installation requires Mac OS 10.4.9 or later.

So is that true?
If it's not true, why doesn't it install?
So if it is true, what version iTunes can he install on his Mac OS 10.3.9?

yah im pretty sure they put 10.4.9 for a reason and thats probably why its not working..
with some quick searching on google i found that the latest version that will work on 10.3 is iTunes 7.0.2
