need help with macbook a1181
Hi,
I have a MacBook A1181 with the following Specs:
Version 3A128
Macintosh Model: Macbook 2,1
CPU Type: Intel Core 2 DUO
Number of Cores: 2
CPU Speed: 2.16Ghz
L2 CPU Cache (shared): 4MB
Boot ROM Version: MB21.88Z.00A5.B07.0706270922
System serial # W87231LTYA8
SMC Version: 1.17F0
Also have the 2 Install DVDs (Original Grey Color) with info:
MAC OS Version 10.5
AHT version 3A137
Disc Version 1.1

This Software is part of a hardware bundle purshase.
Not for sale......
Also says to start holding C And pressind D for hardware test.
The problem I have is that this macbook was given to me without a hard drive. So I bought one and install it but all I see is a flashing folder with question mark inside. If I turn it on with the install disc inside and press C key all I get is the apple logo and then get a message to restart computer (In four or five languages). If I turn it on with D key pressed I go to hardware test and comes out OK.
I downloaded a 10.6 OS X from the internet and burn it to a DL/Disc but doesn't work, just ejects it.
What can I do? Is there a way to make this MacBook boot or work?
Thanks in advance!
