Medialink and Playstation 3

Did you upgrade the PS3 to the latest firmware version?
Also, can you reach the PS3 ip address from your mac with a ping?

Hi Pconde,

Yeah the PS3 is on the latest software and I can PING the ip for the PS3 with 0 packets lost.

Im baffled!!!

It should work. Did you try it disabling the Mac firewall? Also try to reconfigure your PS3 network settings.

Try also to reinstall Medialink (remove form preferences pannel with Control + click)

Try this: Boot your PS3. Then, start Medialink. It will see your PS3, but your PS3 won't see your Mac. Then, stop Medialink and start it again. Then you should see your Mac in the PS3

tried all of the below. still no joy?

You will be waiting a while.... I'm thoroughly disappointed with Nullriver support. I sent a complaint similar to yours over a week ago and have heard nothing back.

Looking for alternatives now, but I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone, they take your money then disappear.
