    Unhappy [MacBook Pro] Charger Question

Hey I am new user of a mac. my macbook pro is excellent. all i want to know is when my laptop is charged to 100% it says 2:30 remaining. then after 5 mins it says 2.05 remaining. i am using the high performance setting (NVIDIA GeForce 9600m GT) and even in that mode it should give me upto 4 hours right as mentioned on the apple website. i have only had this macbook pro for 3 days now and charged it fully the first time and have been working on it with the charger plugged in. another question although the batter is 100% charged do it damage the battery if i continue to use the macbook with the charger plugged in?

It should be fine plugged in all the time.

Otherwise I fear my laptop would blow up, its plugged in 98% of the time...

    First, is it a 17" or a 15" MBP?

Second, take it to Apple Support or the shop that you bought it from to enquire about the battery.

Third, no it would not hurt the battery in any way... when the battery is fully charged, the power is channelled only to the computer... In other words, it's actually better to have it plugged in
