    Well, I think this is related to themes. Try use Firefox without themes and see this work fine.

    Well, looks quite cool, and Icw got similiar problems with QuickSilver, but only when running low-ram or high-CPU. I think if you forced Quartz Extreme 2d support, it may change. For how-to, just look for "secrets" preference pane over google and there toggle it.
