    Default how do I totally remove java from 10.4.11?

    I deleted the folder in the aplications folder, and also the library folder. Are there any other places where java is stored?
    If not, how do I install it back? software update ain't doing anything......
    I would really like to only have the latest version installed, because in it's folder, there were A LOT of versions........
    I just want a clean Java install............

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Looks like you can't unless you reinstall OS X; or at least, according to these websites:

    Just out of interest, why would you want to do such a thing?

    I just wanted to have a clean Java latest version inside my iMac, in case some website or app needs it..............
    I just hated seeing the big folder with all the ,,possible" Java versions inside...........
    isn't there like a .dmg for the latest version of java?

    Sorry, mate. Java is bundled with Mac OS X. And by bundled I mean that it's "integrated" into OS X; you cannot just remove it.

    Please refer to the links above if you need more information and please note that you may need to reinstall OS X to reinstall Java; or better, just wait for the next update to patch whatever problems you were having...
