Exclamation [Help] OS Tiger disc image transfer

really need help I have a powermac and been trying to install Tiger for so long. Recently my tiger disc doesn't work anymore because of ware and scratches. I understand I am permitted to legally download Tiger Discs off a torrent due to the fact I'm entitled to a backup file of it.

so basiclly idk how this works I only have a windows computer to do this on. Can someone tell me witch one to download for a powermac and how to make it readable on a mac after burning it?

For info on torrenting, go here:

And choose your torrent wisely... try to look through the comments of a torrent to distinguish real from fakes.

Oh... If it's DMG I think you're more or less stuck with using another mac to burn it. Or you can follow this MacOSXHints thread:
ISOs, DMGs, and Windows - The macosxhints Forums

If it's not, (i.e. if it's .iso or smth), you can just burn them with Toast or Nero, or any CD/DVD burning program.

In that case I'll do a bit more digging.

PS. I would still say that if you can get someone (a friend) with a mac computer to burn it for you, it would be faster and better.

I think it's what he did—and the filesystem got corrupted.

btw dmg2iso is an OS X app, or so i'm aware. he's trying to burn it on a PC.
