My friend somehow on her powerbook, got the butt end off the headphone stuck in the jack. and its broken, off, there is NO way to get it out, which is FINE, please dont offer me a solution on how i may be able to get it out. The question is, is there anyway to disable to headphone jack so that the sound will now come out of the speakers with the broken peice still in there? any help will be greatly appriciated

There is no way of bypassing or disabling... it's hardware. It has to be taken apart, either to remove the broken piece or remove the jack from the board (or at least un-solder it).
