Harddrive encryption
Hi,
I'm getting my first MacBook Pro hopefully next week and I was wondering about encryption in OS X.
I'm gonna buy the "Data Doubler" that allows you to replace the DVD for a hard-drive so I will have a 128GB SSD where the system is going to be, and then I'm going to buy a 750GB disk that I'm gonna have some other stuff on and I want to encrypt that entire disk.
On my other laptop where I run Linux I have encrypted all the partitions except for the /boot to allow it to load the kernel and it then asks me for the password for the system and storage partition.
This is something that I would want on my MacBook Pro but it's not that important that the System-disk is encrypted.
What options is there on this and what would you recommend?
Thanks,
-Patric

TrueCrypt is the way to go!
Works for external hardrives as well

Thanks!
What if I want to encrypt my boot drive? How would I do that? I'm guessing that's not possible with TrueCrypt?
