    Question Garageband 09 tutorials missing

    Hi,

    I just upgraded to Garageband 09. I checked out the download area and I see only Piano lessons 2 to 9 and Guitar lessons 2 to 9. Where are the lesson 1s ??
    My iPhone
    iPhone 4 (32 GB) Black, Firmware 4.1

    My Mac mini
    2.0 GHz Dual core, 2GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, Leopard 10.5.8

    My MacBook
    2.0 GHz Dual core, 4 GB RAM, 160 GB HDD, SnowLeopard 10.6.4

    If I'm correct, Garageband comes with lesson 1s... as in that's included in your installation.

    (PS. are you sure you cannot find it in the lessons tab?)

    Correct, piano lesson 1 and guitar lesson one are part of the installation.

    Ok. Then its weird because I don't have them. Actually my Mac was shipped with iLife 08 and a friend of mine upgraded his iLife to 09, and he wanted me to checkout Garageband 09, so he just replaced the app from the Applications folder with his app...


    In that case, where do I get lesson 1s ?

    You dont. The lessons are instlled if you use the installer as you should for iLife. You could have selected the stuff to install then.
    You need the install disk
    Read the stickies and search the forum before posting!

    Just got an instruments update in Software Update (1.1 GB). Hope it installs the tutorial....

    If that's the case, just get him to send you the lessons from
