When I boot, the display shows equidistant horizontal bands. There are faint, colored vertical bands which are unreadable.
Is this a display problem ? logic board problem ?
Is there a way that I can use the monitor on my G5 iMac to help diagnose the problem ? I do not have access to an external monitor, just the display on my iMac.

Would appreciate any help.
