    Default Firmware

    Hey Guys,

Just a quick question, there are apps out there that let you know when programs you use have newer versions, such as AppFresh.

However, is there a tool out there that makes sure that your Mac has the most up to date firmware?

Dont know if this is what you are looking for but check System Setting (Dock) and hit "Software Update" there. Set the intervall to a value that matches for you and the Mac will do the job.

As a general rule of thumb, firmware updates are few and far between, thus does not require an updating app to keep track of such updates...

...And I think software update also does it too.

i don't if there is an app, but ...

    Keyword: system_profiler

enter that in your terminal and you will find a lot of nice information.
BUT - in this way you had to check every single information if it is up to date ...

Or you can just use the GUI version of it @ the Utilities folder...
