hey guys...

i've just installed os x on my samsung nc10 and am really liking the new environment. i've never used a mac before, so everything is new.

i'm wondering what everyone feels are essential os x applications, either free/shareware or commercial. the category of the app doesn't matter....

what apps can you just not live without ??

for me firefox has to come first, then maybe photoshop...

what are your essential apps and why ?

How did you make it? Does everything work? Sound? Backlight control? Standby? Hibernation?

My NC10 works fine but not perfect... I installed MSIWindOSX.iso, then the 10.5.7 Combo Updater from Apple and the Post-10.5.7 Installer.
