hi everyone
ive recently been looking at the possibility of replacing the wireless airport card in my MBP with a draft N verion. im wondering if anyone else has tried this and if whether draft N is faster and worth setting up.
thanks

Since you are planning to make a hardware change, you should contact an Apple vendor to do it for you. (i.e. your warranty wont be void) You should ask them about the possibilities in this field matter.
Draft-n is still "drafted" technology, and from what I've experienced, there isn't much of a difference if you set up your router/computer properly

How Old Is Your MBP ? On some machines (circa 2007) you may only need to pay for a software upgrade from apple.

yeah ur right but mine was the one just before the specific release that could be upgraded with just the software. i have however found a retailer that sells an draft 'N' enabled wireless card and wondered if it was worth the swap. however word is its not miles better!![]()
