Hi there folks. I recent acquired an iBook G3 running OS X 10.1.4 @ 600MHz. Anyways, I have some Tiger installation CD's that I burned (dmg's in Disk Utility) and they show up fine in OS X 10.1. So, I click install and wait for the system to restart and boot from the disk. But, it never does. It flashes a question mark folder for about a half second and then it boots right into OS X. I tried burning the disk and the lowest speed possible onto CD-R's and they all came through okay. I can't seem to solve this problem.

Is there any way to make this work, or is there another way I could possibly install Tiger onto this machine?

How did you originally make the dmgs?
