I am trying to edit my Mac system version number, (basically so I can install the iphone sdk), so I went into systemversion.plist, and changed the number, but when I tried to save it said I didnt have the ascess priveleges. (I am in the admin user, its the only user on the mac). So I went into get info and changed that, but it still does not work.
Thanks for your Help in Advance
No no...don't do that. Use disk utility to clone the iphone sdk disk image (.dmg) file and make sure it is set to read/write. Then mount the disk image and right click on the iphone sdk package (.pkg) and select show contents (or something like that). There should be a text file right inside (don't dig too deep inside the folders). Open that file in your favorite text editor (BBEdit) and delete the functions where it checks for the system version.
I actually did it before and I managed to install the iphone 4 SDK on a 10.6.0 when the installer required 10.6.2 or higher.
